These girls became some of my best friends way before the Bachelor last year. But those nights curled up on the couch, chatting and sighing and rolling our eyes while munching on our array of snacks, definitely brought us closer. 

I don't even remember how it all came together but before we knew it, we made a plan to meet up each week, we created a foam board with photos of all the bachelorettes (which we crossed off with a big "X" as they were rejected each week), and we picked our favorites for our first ever Bachelor Bracket. 

I am going to create our own Bachelor Bracket sheet for this upcoming season and I'll share it here on the blog when its ready if anyone out there wants to play along or host their own viewing parties. :)

So this happened yesterday.

I had a cyst on my lower eyelid that was getting a little out of control so I finally had to have minor surgery to get rid of it up at the Moran Eye Center. My doctor was the greatest. I could rave about him and the nurse all day long. The patch? I can't say anything positive about it. And lucky for you guys, none of you are my brother and sister who got gross Snapchats of the gauze patch after it was removed.
Joe was the sweetest and left work early to take care of me afterward. He ordered me into pajamas, tucked me in on the couch, turned on my favorite lamp and made me an ice cream cone. And to top it all off, he still said I was cute as ever...patch, bruised bumpy eye, and all. So glad he's my matey. :)
